I have been proud to serve you as Director of Moulton Niguel Water District since 2018. Thank you for your trust in me and for voting for me in the last two election cycles. As you think about what you want in a leader who understands how to bring a clean, safe, sustainable water supply to our community, I'm confident you'll find that I am uniquely qualified in technical know-how and proven leadership. The next four years will be critical in maintaining an aging infrastructure, increasing drought and fire response effectiveness, and building on the successes of the past. I'm ready to do it again!

Qualifications

  • Currently a Moulton Niguel Water District Director

  • Principal Water Engineer for City of Anaheim, retired

  • Registered Civil Engineer

  • Master’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering

  • Certified at highest level in water and wastewater operations

  • 50 years’ experience in water, wastewater operations, engineering, water quality, and public policy

  • MNWD customer for 36 years

 

As Director

  • Improved our emergency leak response procedures

  • Facilitated more frequent infrastructure investigations and priorities

  • Approved budgets that prepared the District for future infrastructure repairs and upgrades

  • Engaged District customers through Chamber of Commerce presentations and interaction

  • Used my background in wastewater to focus on our wastewater and reuse operations

  • Approved rate structure that avoids spikes in cost to our customers

  • Committee Member for Orange County Infrastructure Report on Drinking Water

  • Past President of the Orange County Water Association, providing insight for MNWD’s customers concerning local, regional, and state water issues well into the 21st Century.
